This Bao Zhong Oolong was organically cultivated by tea master, Dr. Alex Halim of PT Harendong in Banten, Indonesia. This exquisite tea was cultivated at an elevation of about 2900 ft on Halimun Mountain near Gunung Halimun-Salak National Park. Made in the style of prestigious Tawainese Bao Zhongs, it is oxidized only to about 15%, leaving it nearly green in color. In contrast with many green teas, however, it is not astringent. Its long, twisted and slightly curly leaf steeps up a golden liquor with delicate floral and mineral notes and having a lasting, lightly sweet woodsy finish. It’s silky smooth and delicious.
