Darjeeling tea is often referred to as the champagne of teas, and for good reason!  Ours is an early autumn flush, organic tea grown on the high-elevation Makaibari estate in West India. It has a delicate flavor, light musky notes and a subtle floral finish. From an oxidation standpoint, it falls on the lighter style of black teas.  The famed Makaibari estate, considered the oldest in the region, is situated on the steepest slopes of the Himalayan mountain range foothills. (contains caffeine)

Steeping Instructions:
Steep with 185F degree filtered water for 3 minutes. Enjoy 2 - 3 re-steeps
