Deeply rich, inky & earthy, this organic ripe pu-erh is for those who truly like it bold. Made in the dark "shou" style with a lengthy fermentation process, the tea brews deep in color and stirs up woodsy aromas of fresh tilled soil and leather. After a warm water rinse or two, the leaves will steep up a liquor that is equal to or darker than a cup of rich coffee - all without the acidity of coffee and with the benefits of microbially fermented tea as acquired through the work of beneficial molds, bacteria and yeasts. Go bold or go home!
